I don't really have a problem with the music, but I feel like we could use a revamp our entire presentation.
They have finally done a better job with stats and scores on the ribbon boards, but the little jumbotrons serve almost zero purpose other than replays. They never show highlights from other games (which other stadiums do), their "interactive" stuff is awful, etc.

Why are people under 30 the target audience? They're not the ones who pay the freight. When will stadiums figure this out?

The one's who pay the freight primarily pay hoping we win. The people who help us win, in the end, are the target audience, and those people are generally 15-17 year old African American kids.

Recruits are under 30. Players are under 30. The people that can make the most noise are under 30. Music choice isn't going to cause many people to stop buying tickets (and there's a 10 year waiting list even if a few do give up their seats). Etc.

TV companies and students pay a lot more to the university than your average ticket buyer.
The atmosphere is geared towards the players. You think guys want to play in a stadium that plays music for their age group or in one that plays music from before they were born

I can tell you the current music situation is light years better than it was during the Shula era when our playlist consisted of Kansas, Foreigner, Lynard Skynard and Travis Tritt.

Honestly, most of our consistent songs are great
- Jay Z, Public Service Announcement when the guys run out before a big game is fvckin awesome
- the sprinkling in of C Murder isn't as good as it once was, but it's still great
- I love the random old stadium songs like We Will Rock You at random times
- I don't understand the Mr Brightside thing with the students at all, I didn't even know 20 year olds knew or listened to the Killers, but I like it
- I do nostalgically miss hearing the band, but it doesn't really "bother" me

Was really hoping we'd hear Dixieland Delight since we have a new AD.
Trying to fill that void with Friends in Low Places is quite lame.

Yea - very bad.
If we have decided Dixieland Delight isn't feasible at least give me "My Home's in Alabama". That's a great twangy sing along song for 100K that fits in perfectly with everything.

We haven't exactly set a high bar in the past, but to me, music in BDS is better than it's ever been. There are still some selections I don't care for. I may be in the minority here, but a few years ago, they were trying to make "Sweet Caroline" a thing.. and that was borderline embarrassing.

I like when they play Jay-Z's 'On to Tha Next One' at the end of games.

Playing “Sit down, be humble” after sacks is a nice touch.

Guess you want Scott Cochran fired, then.

My only bitch (and I'm over 50) is that they should change it up on a yearly basis. It shouldn't be that hard to do and I get tired of hearing the same old shite year after year. Yes, some are staples and have to stay, but if we want to appeal to the young crowd and recruits, I doubt hearing the same stuff that is already several years old over and over doesn't work as well as fresh music every year or two would.

That is the opening to Hell's Bells a classic rock song all to itself, but I agree, that it does not belong.
Best openings to AC DC songs are
1. Thunderstruck
2. For Those About to Rock ( We Salute you)

I don't really care about the music. I only wish that our entrance music was Enter Sandman and that Mariano Rivera & VTech never used it.

Don’t think I called for anyone to be fired but nice reach.

Tuition says otherwise. It goes up after every national championship (especially out of state) so they are absolutely helping foot the bill.
