I agree. Some out of towners adapt quickly, but the instate kids are born ready for this shite.

Some have been over hyping him based on some quotes people have read on twitter about the Coker vs Winston battle. Because some are overhyping him it is overgeneralized that all bama fans are hyping him.

Many just like me think he will be pretty solid maybe even very good in 2015 with 2014 being a mix of him being a work within the system guy who makes a few great plays and a few mental mistakes.

I sure hope his accuracy and consistency steps up from what I saw on tape.

I personally haven't seen where he is better than Bateman, I would much rather have Bateman for the next 3/4 years than Coker for the next 2 if Coker is not miles ahead of Bateman, if they are dead even in practice I'm for going with Bateman. I think that would also help in recruiting, a kid from the other side of the country (Utah) can come to Bama and lead this team, you don't have to be a local kid or just a kid from the south...you can be from Cali, Arizona, Utah, Nevada if you're good enough you can come lead one of the best college football teams in the country. Not that Bama is hurting in recruiting but hey it could only get better.

What do you have against Bateman? All things considered I thought he did okay in the spring game. Sims was absolutely miserable.

From my perspective, y'all have been hyping him here, though my sense is that it's more hope than certainty. Since I don't hate you, my conclusion was simply that Coker is a stud who almost beat out Jameis and losing a 3 year starter with two NCs to his name makes your hope completely understandable.

You have to remember not to take the hate personally. Nobody hates us for the same reason almsot everybody hates you -- level of success. It's a compliment.

Other boards may have, but I haven't seen a whole lot of hype from the regulars on this board.
