Earliest I can remember was the 1998 Iron Bowl at Legion, it was cold. I had been to a few before that but I don't really remember them vividly.

My first game at BDS was 2000 Ole Miss. Took my old man for his Birthday. We won 45-7.
Went to a ton at Legion Field before this because it was only a 45 min drive from the house as opposed to an 1hr 30-40min drive to TTown.

The 1973 Sugar Bowl with my dad on December 31, 1973, at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana. Alabama Crimson Tide, representing the Southeastern Conference (SEC), VS the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, competing as a football independent at the time.
At one time over a 10 year span there was probably not a big-time college, sugar bowl,NFL game at Tulane Stadium I did not attend.
I was standing in the en=zone when Notre Dame threw for the big first down, out of there own enzone,
with Bama trailing 24-23 with a 1:28 left in the game.
So facing like 3rd & 10 from the there 3 yd-line It took a lot of balls to call a pass at the moment.
But the game I wanted to see the most was when Namath came with the jets to play the saints for the first time.
I never seen a better thrown ball. That's the day I became a Namath fan and only a few in the game have thrown a better looking pass.

Felt like a loss because we lost a future great Bama linebacker to injury on the play that won the game. Marvin Constant was a bull. Ended his career.
Didn’t know that either, sad stuff.

My first game was later that year (1990) when they played Cincinnati. I was 8. My granddad took me. He had tickets from the first year Bryant returned to Bama in 1958 all the way through 1992.

1995 Orange Bowl - Alabama v Ohio State. Bama won 24-17
The one thing I remember is dropping a piece of gum off the upper decks and watched it hit a car below. I was so worried it would frick up the car or kills someone because we were so far up. Kind of like the penny thrown off the Empire State Building myth.
Sad thing was I was 34 years old.
jk.

1987 against USL in Birmingham.
It was actually homecoming for the game, but it was at Legion Field because Bryant Denny's first upper deck on the West side was under construction so we played every home game at Legion Field that year.
I don't remember the game at all since I was young.

Bama vs South Carolina in 2005. It was Spurrier's first home game in Carolina. They had just beaten a ranked Georgia team on the road. The fans were cocky as hell.
We beat the frick out of them. If Prothro hadn't have gotten injured, that would've been a great year.

I remember Barker winning the game on a screen pass for a touchdown at the end to seal the victory. I was a freshman at Bama that year. I had no idea the rest of my school days would see Dumbose utterly tear down our program. I still never missed a home game while I was a student.
