The only one I would consider taking is JFF, but I am honestly pretty happy with where we are at with McCarron.

I disagree. I think the injuries have just hurt him more than they let on. A back injury and a knee injury are very bad for a QB. It will always affect your timing. Should be fine by January.

For what it's worth, he was wearing a boot on a foot at the player's banquet. No clue what foot it was on.

He's been wearing a boot for weeks now...he is dinged up.

Since he didn't blow the UGA game and in fact got a HUGE late game TD pass play, I'm all team AJ.

AJ may be the best play action quarterback we've ever had. I am willing to bet close to half his touchdown passes have been on the deep play action bombs. Which is another reason we need to run and let AJ go under center more.

Anyone who has played any type of competitive sport and had an injury like that knows how much those types of injuries impact movement and timing.

I have wondered for awhile if his bruised back was worse than what they were letting on. It seems like he hasn't been the same player since then.

Been saying since the injury that it was worse than was reported. His acurraqcy is off sometimes and at others, he doesn't have the same zip or smooth motion on some of his throws. I think we learn more in the off season. Hopefully, he will heal up some before the BCSCS game.

Bama's lost two games in two seasons with A.J. as the starter. That just doesn't suck.

AJ was hurt. Bruised up with a back injury.

That said, he had serious touch on some of those passes in the UGA game. If we had remained healthy this year there probably wasn't a team that could've come within 17 of this team (except an equally healthy LSU). AJ wasn't spared the injury bug - his just wasn't as severe.
