Mariota would have to shite the bed BIG TIME and Coop would have to destroy Mizzou for him to have a chance. QBs get all the love and stats, it's a joke of an award really.

Cooper should be the unanimous winner. He's obviously the best player in the country. Mariota is just beating up a bunch of punching bags in the Pac-32 and Melvin Gordon is just accumulating stats in meaningless games.

To be honest, if I was a Heisman voter, right now I'd vote for Gordon to win it...with Coop 2nd and Mariota 3rd. Gordon has already rushed for 2200+ yards and 26 TDs (and 3 more receiving TDs), averaging 8 yards a carry...and he did some of that against the SEC's top team in total defense (LSU). Of course, my thinking could change depending on how these 3 do in their conference championship games.

By the way, in 2012 under Lane Kiffin, Marqise Lee had 16 catches for 345 yards and 2 TDs against Arizona.

Doubt Coop does that, but Kiffin has guided a WR to a 300 yard game before.
