Women didn't make the cut in SEC championships. Men are in last place. What happened to the promising year they were supposed to have?

Were there injuries?

The 2 best women made it through LPGA Q school and turned pro.

Davis Riley who was one of the best players in the country also turned pro this semester. Davis Shore, who should be the 1 or 2 guy on the team now, has not been playing but i'm not sure why.

*just read that Shore has a torn labrum.

Women's team is missing Lauren Stephenson and Kristen Gillman. It sucks dick because in October they set a new NCAA record, finishing 45 under par. Porter had to adjust and place two freshmen in the fall to take their place. They'll be back in contention next year.

It hasn't been pretty for both programs this year after making it to the championship the year prior. If it helps though, the men's team was never going to win the title this year. Oklahoma State has like 4 top 50 golfers and are going to repeat last year's title.

Just a bad transition year between seniors, losing kids early and injuries.

Goes to show how thing the margin for error is.

We gotta hope both programs turn it around next year, because as fans, that was the one sports you could lean on Alabama contending for a national title. I don't even know the last spring national title Alabama won. Outside of individual titles, Alabama could go a full academic year without winning a national championship.

Don’t be surprised if track and field breaks through soon.
