We could also easily go 8-4. I have no faith in us running the table because that would require us to actually improve.

Why do you think that we won't improve?

Because I don't really recall one year under Saban where we really improved as the season went on. We improve in spots but never do we see a different team between Game 1 and Game 12. We kind of are who are from start to finish.

I hope I'm wrong because I'd love to see us be like AU last year and just start clicking on all cylinders come November.

I saw a lot of improvement from game one until the AU game last year.

I didn't. I saw us regress after the LSU game. Even Saban has admitted that. We were not playing our best football at the end of the year.

The Iron Bowl was Saban's 1/9.

Hate to be a pessimist, but I could see this team at 8-4 much easier than going to a play-off. I'll guess it will be somewhere in between. Painful to watch them shoot themselves in the foot time and time again, though.

What Happened To "MTAQ"? Just win moving forward. Do any of you think Florida fans care that they lost to Ole Miss in 2008? At home? Hell no. They picked themselves up and ran the table winning the title. We have that chance. Again, let's see how they respond next week and the remainder of the month before we write this team off.

The difference is that Florida team had leadership. I don't see it with this team.

I'm not ready to give up, but, something's missing. I think it's a combination of all the posts. Lack of hunger, lack of leadership, and I worry there's some form of complacency in the coaching staff (special teams and DBs are not what they've been.)

I also think we need to realize that Bama's domination had made the other SECW teams raise their games. It's a lot harder than when only LSU was the only hurdle we had. It's a different landscape.

While many are going to overreact in these situations I would like to see us get more physical on defense and TACKLE once in awhile. I'm better now.

Lost on the road to current #3 in a game we should/could have won. We will be fine.

That Florida team went on to absolutely steamroll everyone remaining on their schedule until they played us in the SECCG. During that stretch, they looked as good as any team over the last few decades. Would love for us to respond like they did but I don't see it. Hope I'm wrong.

Went from "Make Their Asses Quit" to "Maybe They'll All Quit"..... because we're Alabama.
