We're pretty screwed if we are forced to play a walk on significantly unless its against Charleston Southern

In Vaughn we trust.

Well if it's significant it means he's 1st string, so that would suck because that's a ton of talent getting hurt.

Man, looking at Vaughn's highlights, he looks like a beast.

He's pretty damn stout too at 5'8".

Cousin who is going to be a LB at Troy this coming season has played against him. Had nothing but praise for the kid. Said he was a really punishing runner and tough to tackle.

His film is impressive for several reasons. First, this is 6A Alabama football. The defenses he's facing aren't filled with corner sized DL. These are quality squads and he sometimes runs over multiple defenders before going down. He shows great burst and decent vision. Runs very violently. His speed is a glaring weakness and IMO, why he wasn't highly recruited. In open space he's not the fastest and can be caught by faster secondary, but this can be fixed with proper S&C which I'm confident he'll receive.

At 5'8 and 210lbs with the frame to add about 10-15 more lbs, that's a damn bowling ball not unlike the RB Miss St had last year, who faired very well against a lot of teams.

Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

We've seen a split backfield for so long, I wonder if we'll let Henry tote it 25+ times a game and just see how long we can ride him. Physically, he looks to be able to handle it. No reason he can't be an EDB on the college level. Size, speed, and great in pass pro.

Henry carried the ball 40+ times/game in HS. He can handle it. I've always wondered how he'd do if they just kept feeding him the ball.

Come to think of it, the OSU game would have been a great time to try that.

Unless Drake keeps fumbling, I think we'll see him in that traditional 2nd string back role - getting every 3rd series or so. If he gets injured or fumbles, then it'll be interesting to see if we use Harris or give Henry every series.

Maybe Drake should start.

I think DH will be the starter, but if Drake proves more effective I could see him taking over a few games in

Yeah it's going to depend on what Harris does with the few carries he get in his first couple games
