There are at least 4 teams ranked ahead of ud that could easily lose this weekend. If we can beat Georgia we could easily be back in the top 5

hmm.... meh, i think when they dropped us all the way to 12th, then moved us dwn again after a win. they were sending a clear message that outside of a miracle, we're out. i dont see them making any major effort to move us up anytime soon regardless of wins. whoever wins the nd/klempsum game goes to top 5. but even if we beat ga we may only barely make top 10, if that.

Either Clemson or ND will lose - 1
You beat us - 2
Arizona State beats UCLA - I don't see that happening but 3
Texas Tech beating Baylor is your 4th??? Or is is Florida taking down Ole Miss?
And how do you jump from # 13 to # 5 if only 4 or 5 teams ahead of you lose?
Top 10? yes, you would be back in the top 10 I would think, but I doubt you would jump Ole Miss

Not if 4 teams in front of us lose, I think us dropping had more to do with what Utah did to Oregon, and with them still being undefeated.

Utah in the top 10 is well deserved, at least for now. Maybe Oregon does suck, but the Utes just dropped 60 on them at Autzen
I personally cannot see dropping Utah out of the top 10 unless or until they get beat

The best game I have ever attended was the SEC championship. Win or lose I think this will be a great game played to the last minute (unless UGA trucks us).

Even though y'all beat us, it was a great game. One of the best I've ever been to, and I had to sit right behind the Bama band
Here's to a good one, with no injuries

tOSU started last year in the playoff committee's poll at #14, and they had fewer opportunities to prove themselves compared to our schedule.
It doesn't matter what we are ranked next week so long as we take care of business in Athens. If we win out, I have no doubt in my mind that we will be in the playoffs. If we win, I think we probably jump to about #8 if it was a close game. If a miracle happens and we blow out UGA, I think we could rise as high as #5. I don't foresee that happening (us blowing out UGA), but I brought it up more for the sake of hypothetical.

It's the next game, nothing more.

GENTLEMEN????
Well, I never! SO sexist!
SO excited for this game - as I have said many times on here, my high school (and still BFF) went to UGA, so I spent a lot of weekends there during my college years. UGA is my second favorite SEC school.
Back in the day (90-94) - Alabama was MUCH smaller than it is now and much smaller than UGA. She and I were at a party at Lambda Chi (I think?) and our ride didn't want to leave and I said we should just walk back to her dorm. (Where did freshman girls live back then - maybe Milledge something or the other?) Anyway, she looked at me like I was crazy and said we should wait for the bus and I insisted we would be fine walking.
That's when I learned that getting home from a fraternity party without a car in Tuscaloosa was a MUCH less taxing endeavor than doing the same same in Athens.
I haven't been to Athens since I was in grad school (95). I bet it's changed as much as T-Town has. I wish I could go but when your son plays on Friday nights, it's much harder to get to those away games.
Everyone making the trip have a fun and safe time and Roll Tide!

It'll be a close game, betting similar to the 2011 "Game of the Century" 9-6 something ridiculous like that.
