Thanks for posting this. I never would have thought Mosley played that many snaps. I thought Allen was on the field more than him. Or at least I noticed him more.

I'm no expert on OLB play but both Allen & Mosley appear to be struggling (relative to what we'd get from the likes of Jennings/Miller/Hall-Lewis)

So when is Jacobs going to get back into the regular rotation? Najee doesn't look ready yet.

No clue but the 2 snaps I saw Jacobs play Saturday (NOTE: My snap count totals might not be 100% accurate but they're probably 98-99% accurate) he was in the backfield with Damien Harris.

Would be interested if we use that type package going forward when he's healthy - esp now that Forristall is donezo. He wasn't playing much but still - he was one of only 3 TE/HB's we've used - and now??? Me thinks we could use Jacobs in an H-Back type role with a split backfield some more since we're not going to be able to go 2 TE's as much w/o Forristall (unless we start using Ronnie Clark or a walk-on or take the redshirt off K James or M Tennison)

That'd be a good look I think. I've wanted to see more two back sets for awhile. With Jalen there's a lot we could do with that look.

Very interesting. Najee looks slow to me. He may need to shed some weight like Bo has done. Also Q. Williams has dropped off the map. Wonder what happened there.

Regular (3-4-3) [23]

Leave it to Saban to send 10 men out as his base defense

And were Wills' 7 snaps at RT with Womack kicking to RG?

Jacobs is on a snap count his role will increase each game.

Irv Smith is your best TE, they will use him later when needed, kind of like an ace in the hole.

He's a freshman and is still working on getting open. He has had touches, but other targets get open.

Jalen has a man crush on Ridley, to be fair.

Lol wut? Have you seen the trainwreck he's been running behind?

If Najee doesn't look ready, how in the frick do you think our other backs look?

It's pretty evident that Najee Harris isn't close to the level that Damien Harris or Scarbrough are right now. He is a true freshman, after all.

First play from scrimmage had Jacobs and Harris flanking Jalen. I like that look A LOT!! multiple possibilities with that formation. A little option look with one being the dive and the other being the pitch back.

Better? Have you not been watching the games? Najee is going to be great. But he isn't as good as the other backs right now.

The unrealistic expectations of this fanbase are astounding at this point. NH looks great for a freshman.
