IMO it was good for Bama to not play "up to par" against a below average team and realize that they have to show up and play 100% against every team.

Also IMO it was also good for Awbarn to win because IMO if AU loses against UGA then AU comes into the Iron Bowl "hungry" and a chip on their shoulder.

Agree. Team saw barn jump all over UGA early too. Best thing that could have happened IMO.

I kige this as well. It gives the coaches things to work on and puts a fire under the team. You would think the team would always be fired up for the IB, but AU coming in red hot makes this game even bigger.

MSU is a good team even though they've lost a handful of games. They lost to Okie State, Aub, LSU, SC, TAM, Bama. No shame in any of those losses - all to good and great teams. Aub only beat them by 4 points, and TAM got em by 10.

Auburn will come into the Bama game with a chip on their shoulder no matter the circumstances.

I kind of wanted Alabama to clinch the SEC West last Saturday (always an important goal), but in terms of focus for the Auburn game, last Saturday couldn't have hurt.

I like that the team was disappointed with their performance. I think that will help them to work hard these next two weeks.

I agree. Bama played like crap and won so they won't get the big head.
It's good that Auburn pulled their game out so they won't come into the game with a nothing to lose attitude.

I think so.I've lost a little focus myself.Bama has kind of cruised through the Season and I have to remind myself of what winning out would mean.

I'm pretty sure Coach Saban wants this one pretty bad.I'm sure he hasn't lost focus. The Seniors and Juniors that will leave this year need to get everyone's attention in practice.

I have faith that they will.

I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully this gives the coaches some film about where the problems still are and they have 2 weeks to get the kinks ironed out.

If you're going to lay a turd in the homestretch than @ MSU is the best place.
