Average offensive drive of 3 plays and 20 seconds off the clock = game over.

yeah that was awful no doubt, but the defense wasn't responsible for that, or the refs not throwing the flag on the picks. Especially the first pick which was directly in front of two refs, and unbelievably obvious.

How they didn't call the second one after allowing the first is mind blowing. It was fricking obvious #16 wasn't running a route and there were 3 officials standing right there.

Horrendous.

Do coaches scout refs and learn their tenancies? Dabo is brilliant if he did that and called the plays based off of it.

You can't have an illegal pick if there is no contact. Brown tripped over his own feet on the last TD. You have to know what's coming there and switch.

I think the refs were just incompetent.

They made bad call after bad call tonight.

Even my Ohio State friend said that should have been offensive pass interference and he hates Alabama.

Actually if a WR is blocking past the LoS and the ball is thrown past the LoS that is the definition of offensive pass interference. Their WR was doing just that.

Tripped over his own feet ? Lol

It was another pick. Even one of the tool bag announcers said it was a pick.

Clemson was allowed 2 illegal plays that resulted directly into 2 TDs.

Even watson in his post game interview said they ran the pick. Literally. He admitted it.

Refs had a terrible night. The tripping call was absolutely bullshite and put them right on the 2. A game should never decide a game and I think they did.

That was a dive, and it amazing that clemson didnt have 1 holding call on there offense all night long to boat.

Yes, the refs were terrible.

The fact remains that Clemson never gave up, and our offense, as it has for the last several games, couldn't get out of it's own way. Just one or two more first down conversions in the game, and we win.

It had to end eventually. Not a Dabo fan, but Watson is all class, and I am happy for him.

Hunter Renfrow was player of the game for Clemson hands down. He caused a 21 point swing.

A TD saving tackle on Ryan Anderson
1 TD across the middle
1 TD on the rub/pick.

Of course that's the play that was run. But if the WR didn't make contact with Brown, there's no pick. "Lol"??? Go back and look at the clip and then read the rule book.

One question on the PI call that put the ball on the 2...the contact didn't happen in the end zone, so shouldn't it have only been half the distance?

We obviously had our problems but so did they. Losing isn't a huge deal, this was supposed to be as close to a rebuilding year as we have, but it's real fricking painful that their 2 comeback scores were illegal plays.

I don't see much of a difference in those 2 plays and the play Notre Dame got called for a penalty a couple years back

Did our offense miss a bunch of tackles and allow 31 points. People don't want to admit that the O did its job when it counted most. 31 points shoukd have been enough with the "greastest Bama D ever!"

No, the offense didn't do its job when it counted. Zero sustained drives. Clemson already had 30 min TOP when there was six minutes left in the fourth. Insane.
