the LSU admin was talking to none of the coaches about renewing or extending contracts. There was a big disconnect. Steele's contract was over in a year. He is reportely getting 1.4 mil per with a 3 year contract. So even if Gus is canned he will be owed a nice chunk to not coach. Also AU agreed to pay his LSU buyout totalling around half mil. Also it is tied into AU buying into the State retirement so he will be fully vested when his 3 year contract is up.
Cam's contract is up this spring so he will probably be looking to boot scoot himself. He has a lot of ties to the NFL so that may be an option for him, even if it is a position coach.

no surprise since it would be a promotion. Who knows, we may have someone in the FB admin team that will get a promotion.

They are taught to face guard. It's common within 20 yards while in man/B&R coverage. They are graded that way. If they turn, they could lose coverage.
