The former Alabama football standout who played four seasons in the NFL rushed for 60 yards on 14 carries Friday night for Saskatchewan Roughriders, including one vintage shoulder charge blast against an opposing safety.
The Roughriders fell to Ottawa, 33-32, but it was Richardson's first extensive action since being signed on Sept. 26.

Good for him. If he can get his footing up there he may eventually make it back to the NFL. He's got a lot of tread left on the tires, and physically you could not ask for a more prototypical specimen at rb
