He was actually pretty good his rookie year (ie i can't think of any back that would have done substantially better at Cleveland that year, no qb and a shitty OL)

What was his playing weight at Bama?

There was a play from Mike McCoy that I vividly remember against Clemson in 2008 that stick out in my mind as "wow, this team is different mentally than any in a long, long time."

I think it was a screen to one of the rb's and McCoy just trucks the DB and is standing over him like a conquered gladiator looking at him like "I'll be back in 45 seconds bitch."


I think that moment is the first time I truly believed the Saban era at Bama was going to be special.
