With most all of the D guys staying, I haven't seen any word on if he got kicked off or is still there. Anyone have any info?

I would hate to see him gone because I loved watching him play but if it is for the betterment of the team, I am all for it.

He apologized to the team after the championship. I think he is fine as of now.

I hope he stays, because I think he could end up being the best of this current group of corners. When he's got his head on straight, he plays with a mean streak that's a pleasure to watch. What the hell is his problem?

My boss(knows the family somehow) told me he was fairly certain that Tony was planning on returning. The opportunity is there for the young man, he just has to realize it and grab it.

They should move him to safety, let him take his redshirt year to learn the position (we are good next year at both safety and corner), and have him step right in for eddie jackson with 2 years eligibility

he has 3 months til spring practice to do the right thing. I hope it happens but I am cautiously not optimistic that it will. I hope he proves my debbie downer comment to be wrong.

He is Fitz Backup in Nickel. However, Fitz will replace Cyrus at corner and Tony will likely be the full time Nickel or Eddie Moves to Free Safety and Ronnie to Strong or Tony.

Not unless he figures out how to cover. That walk on white boy abused his arse in the NC game.

A perfect route and a perfect pass are impossible to defend. The key to being a good CB is to make them do those things. If you do, and they do, then you just tip your hat and move on.

If he is smart he will move to safety. He could easily start next to Eddie Jackson next season there. At corner he just has too many guys better than him ahead of him.

Yup. Herbie was giving way too much credit to that white boy on both TDs. Watson threw literally perfect balls both times.

I dislike people who don't understand the game and difference between a great pass and bad defense.

On this one I could be wrong but.....I'm thinking Jackson has to shade over more for help. But it was a really good throw.

On this play, I don't know the coverage call/responsibilities but Geno is covering nobody. I'm assuming Minkah was supposed to cutoff anything inside there. And again, he put the ball right where he had to.

Watson was unbelievable. Our safeties however made things easier by either being to late or total faked out on covering the slot receiver over the top.

- In the first play Eddie Jackson should have been there for the break up. If you remember we mad adjustments (EJ got his arse chewed lol) on the wheel route and that led to Eddie making that amazing INT.

- In the second play that is just poor help coverage by Geno. He's over the top and he bit on the corner route badly. To be fair it was a great route and head fake/move by #13.

I think Fitz is utilized best at the nickel spot, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him stay there.

Humphrey and Brown as the starting corners wouldn't surprise me a bit with Fitz as the nickel. Those are probably the two best athletes on the team. Sheffield and Mo Smith will battle for that 6th DB spot if I had to guess. Tony was talented enough to see meaningful time at outside corner as a true freshman, he just needs to get his head out of his arse and go to work.

If the reports about Sheff are true, I expect Hump and Sheff to start at the corners with Fitz staying at nickel. Give me Eddie and Harrison at safety, that leaves Brown and Mo Smith battling it out for the money spot. I do think if Brown sticks with it he will find a role and become a star before he leaves. That's a big if though. Ball is in his court.

If you look at the first TD it looks like the safety came over late.
