He didn't kill us last night, but Chad Kelly will pick on him. I realize he's the man on the corner, but he's got to tighten up. Roll damn Tide.

I hope he gets better fast. He was picked on all night for sure.

Cyrus, Milliner, and even Kareem had their growing pains, too.

He played alright. Those receivers were no chumps.

One pass to a good WR where he was in good position and the WR played his technique perfectly and high pointed the ball. What else did he give up?

I can find one play where any player on the team got beat.

That being said, I wouldn't mind if he tightened up with a quickness

I like Fitzpatrick outside with tony Brown at star when he gets back. Shyheim Carter was out there a little.

Yeah he didn't look bad, just inexperienced. He didn't ever get beat, just his instincts (read muscle memory) wasn't there yet.

This is true, and Bama will always give up a couple of those long balls. I'm not complaining at all, our defense is an absolute force. Tony will be fine. Roll damn Tide!

Was he covering Smith-Schuster all night?

I'm not sure and I'm nitpicking so disregard this. 52-6 against USC? Roll damn Tide

AA played well. He was solid coming up in run coverage and never got beat. Even on the long ball he had perfect position, he just didn't get his head around in time to make a play on an under thrown ball. For his first start, I give him a solid 9/10. Teams will pick on him, but they picked on Hump last season. He should get better every week too.

I think "Anthony" did a solid job. The defense was dominant all night.

He's fine. First real playing time against a skilled WR group. His shortcomings are magnified by playing in the same secondary as Hump and Fitz.
