I just mean he's the kind that can run to a spot in transition and hit a shot on a kick out from one of the slashers we have coming in. Plus with the floor opened up in transition, the passing lanes will be that more open for him to exploit.

Guy seems like a headcase. Lied to the coaches, fans, and even worse, the team. What sucks is we could have had Sexton, Key, Petty, and Ferguson on the court at the same time. Oh well, glad we have 3 of those 4 still.

I watched some of Sexton's highlights today and that kid isn't afraid of anything.
He's going to be extremely fun to watch next year.
Hopefully Giddens will prove to be a good pickup as well.

BOL had an update on 2018 4-star SF Robert Woodard (#38 overall) and it seems like we are in great position to land him or at least have a chance. They interviewed his coach and he said Alabama is very interested in Woodard and they've done a great job of recruiting him and making a relationship with him. Bob Simon is his main recruiter along with Pettway. His coach said Simon and Pett talk a ton about how Woodard is not only a great player, but a great student and great person. He said how much a school cares about academics will play a big part in who lands him. Last thing they asked was did he think our 2017 class would make him want to play there and he said Robert pays attention to that stuff and knows about who's committed to which schools and that'll play a part in it too.

I'm gonna start up the offseason thread soon. I was planning on waiting for the women's season to finish up, but since some recruiting news is coming out and the high school all Star games are next month, I'll go ahead and make it tonight or tomorrow.

Mizzou has to be loving this. One day they're the worst team in the conference with no hope and the next Washington fires their coach sending Cuonzo Martin (CBB's biggest whore of a coach) to them so he can hire the father of two five-star recruits (one of them the top ranked player in the nation, Michael Porter, Jr). They've gone from the shittiest team to a top 5 team in the conference.

I remember when Cream was mentioned for the Bama job, it was consensus no around these parts and that was 2 years prior to the meh seasons he just had, meanwhile LSU fans are claiming to land a home run if he takes the job

The Alabama-Mississippi All Star Basketball game is tonight at 7 CT at Alabama State. Alex Reese, Galin Smith, and Herb Jones will all play. Petty was invited but declined and will play in the Jordan Brand Classic at a later date.

I hadn't heard much so I decided to take a look at the 2018 instate talent. Not much to write home about. At most 3 high-major quality kids. 2019 class looks stacked though.
