Arkansas is a dangerous team when they want to play. If we play them again, I hope they are having a bad night

same reason we do every single year....just to blow our chances in the final couple games. Hoping so bad we don't do that again

My hopes aren't up I'm just excited for the next game.

There's no way we win 4 games in a row against equal competition.

As a bubble team, I'd prefer to be a 5 seed than a 4 seed.

Getting an "easy" W over a 12-13 seed then playing a toss up vs the 4 seed has a higher chance of 2W compared to 5 Seed + UF/UK game 2

Still quite a few seats available in the upper rows per rolltide.com. I'd ballpark it at around 750 available.

Btw, did any of you catch the Duke-Cuse game last night?

Setting the present aside for a moment, I'm excited and encouraged by the fact that both years under Avery we have gotten better as the year goes on and by the end of the season we are playing our best basketball. With Grant, we were just as good or bad in game 30 as in game 1. And with the lack of star power on this team, even climbing onto the bubble is a great coaching achievement. I can't wait to see what next year brings when CAJ will actually have something to work with. It will really finally be time to #buckleup!

Syracuse's win over Duke put them back in Jerry Palm's bracket and knocked us back out into the "First Four Out" section.

I feel good about the game today. Looked at the last meetings stats and I see where Maten had 20 points. They'll miss him a lot tonight. I expect our bigs will have a good game and that'll open up some shots from 3. Really hoping Riley and Bola keep the momentum going from their last game.

Need Key to also start getting back into rhythm.

Biggest thing we had against LSU- other than LSU being terrible- was our assist-to-turnover ratio was finally where it needed to be. Only 10 turnovers and 20 assist, compared to our season average of only 12 assist and 14 turnovers. Of course that game is probably an anomaly because LSU is horrible and we shot 40% from beyond the arc. However, we should feel a little bit more optimistic about tonight because Maten accounted for 26% of UGA's points this season. Hopefully our chemistry continues to grow.

4 of our 5 signees are still playing for a hs state title. Galin Smith- MS and Sexton- GA are in 6A & 7A Regional finals. Herb & Petty will be playing in semifinal games in B'ham next week. Reese and Pelham lost in regional finals.
Looks like we are bringing in a whole bunch of winners

Galin Smith had 1 point fouled out against Robert Woodard and Columbus in the playoffs. Smith's Clinton team won however.

Yeah he's got a high potential tho. Pelphrey & Avery will work hard and get him better. They've done a pretty good job I think with Taylor, Hall, and Bola, especially with rebounding.

To be fair, both Hall and Bola were already terrific rebounders and Jimmie still struggles. The biggest differences this year is Hall plays more than Jimmie now, we have replaced Hale with Bola (on of the worst rebounding bigs of all time with probably the best in Bama history), we have a PG averaging almost 5 boards/game, and we rebound as a team much better.
