The 2012 SEC championship was just on. Right when I saw it and changed the channel AJ threw the bomb to Cooper with a few minutes left in the game.

Man what a great game that was. Seriously.

I'm looking forward to that '79 Sugar Bowl game. Bought a fresh bottle of Makers Mark just for the occasion....picking up my old man and bringing him over to watch it with me.

Built by Bama show has a long segment with Avery Johnson that was really good.

When people ask which "championship team was the best" it baffles me when someone says any team pre 2000s.

Vandy of today would murk this 79 team and it wouldn't even be close. Look how little they all are lol

Whose rulebook are we playing by? Because I doubt there are many QB's in CFB who would last a season with 79 rules. WR either.

Hell, maybe even 90's rules.

So much stuff isn't allowed now that was allowed even back when I played as a kid in the 80's and 90's.

You damn sure aren't going to find receivers who will jump across the middle to get balls very often.

If you don't think Dwight Stephenson, exposed to modern weight training, wouldn't absolutely dominate, I don't know what to tell you.
