Rumors out there of Andy Enfield to SMU and then Musselman to USC.

Wonder who Arkansas would go after? They are a very attractive job with their NIL

Playing high school in the heart of Tar Heel country, Stevenson received an offer from North Carolina at a young age, early in his high school career. He got to know North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis and his coaching staff through a multitde of unofficial visits, which were easy to complete with his proximity to campus.

As Stevenson's stock grew, his decision ultimately came down to North Carolina and Alabama. He chose to leave his hometown and forge his own path in Tuscaloosa instead of following in the footsteps of his mother.

“I felt like I could make a bigger impact here," Stevenson said. "I love the offense here, with it playing fast and stuff I thought I could improve here more. That was the main decision. I feel like I’m getting better, just different things, seeing the ball. I feel like it’s going to show, especially next year.

This is why Muss is leaving and why we need better administration.

Our NIL is a joke and sadly why so many fans are upset. If I donate 10k to the nil for mens basketball. I want it to go to mens basketball. Not spread evenly for all the other sports.

One thing I always look for when coaches leave/fired. Did they leave the program in better shape than when they first arrived? The easy answer is yes.

In the last 5 season, we had 4/5 20 win seasons. 2 Elite 8's and 1 sweet 16 in the last 3/4 years.

Teams in the sec with sweet 16 since 1979
State (3)
Georgia (2)

I don't trust our administration with a coaching search.

Man those facilities we’re practicing in don’t look all that impressive

Staples is a dump. Wish they were playing in the brand new Clipper's arena.

I can't remember the last time the marriage between coach and school went from bliss to the brink of divorce as quickly as Arkansas and Musselman. 6 months ago there was seemingly nothing to see there and now it appears he's desperate to get out.

Why? Moving to the ACC, which may be gone in the next few seasons.

I think a main reason is he and his wife just don’t like living in Arkansas. Especially his wife

It’s doesn’t matter. They will come and we will make our stand. House money.

Good charts. Is the lower is better just for defense? Think Illini have had the best offense in the country in the past several weeks.

I didn’t realize UT was struggling so bad on offense but they did struggle a lot against Tex, MSU in the SECT, and even the game against us in Tuscaloosa that they won.

Nah, that wasn’t meant for basketball peeps who understand the nuances. That was meant for people trying to say UNC isn’t as good as Bama this year, which literally makes zero sense by virtually all metrics. Our best win is probably AU at home, and UNC has arguably 5 wins better than that including Tenn at home and Clemson/Duke on the road.

Upsets happen, which I hope Thursday is one of those, but we’re not the better team. We just have to be the better team for 40 minutes on Thursday.

Boz said it well, house money for fans at this point. Hope we win, but UNC is being underrated by this board and Vegas IMO (note: the ACC got 80% of their 5 NCAAT teams into the sweet 16).

absolute nonsense. metrics are as flawed as usual but what they do get right is bama shoots better, unc's bench is meh, and the acc as a whole wasnt jack shite compared to the sec. no way does unc not end up with 10+ losses if in the sec.
latrell shuts down davis. rylan shuts down ingram. only estrada can guard estrada. jarin becomes a man and sears gets to take a nap against cadeu while raining in 30 as pringle/nelson display a dunkfest for the ages against bacots slow arse.
to sum it up, bama bathes in blueblood blood and wins by 20+ EASY like i wont even have to be drunk to watch it EASY

Interesting stat regarding North Carolina's defense:

While it ranks No. 6 in defensive efficiency, it only ranks No. 310 nationally in forced TO rate.

Alabama has struggled mightily against teams that force a high rate of TO's. This may take a little pressure off the offense.

By the metrics UNC is overseeded imo. The other one seeds are ranked 1,2, and 3 based on their metrics. UNC is ranked 9th based on theirs and we’re 14th. UNC is good for sure and I think they’re rightfully favored but we got the best matchup imo as far as the 1 seeds go. I think it will be a close game and we definitely have a shot.
