Me too. He isn’t afraid of Saban and the shadow he casts.

I do like him. Charisma and gravitas are not his strong suite though.

Alright I got to where he started talking about toughness and dominating the line of scrimmage. I like it.

I don’t see it Boz. I’ll get hammered for having that view point. Already being labeled a troll: whatever.

He is openly more soft for players, but he has a lot of Sabanesque qualities. Which I’m assuming a lot of the best coaches are going to be similar in their approach. I see several similarities.

I think he did fine. He flew in late last night, He’s standing in front of the GOAT. He’s just gotten a small taste of the media storm he’s going to encounter Daily. He’ll be aight. Roll Tide!!

Seeing some rumors appear that Grubb and Shepherd (receiver’s coach) are indeed coming to Bama. Nothing solid yet, though.

Mike Rodak:
quote:

Alabama AD Greg Byrne said he left Tuscaloosa on Wednesday night after Saban's retirement decision and didn't return until Friday afternoon. He spoke "several times" with Nick Saban during that process.

quote:

Greg Byrne said Nick Saban was "very transparent" about his retirement plans and wasn't surprised when he made his decision.
