If Saban could keep Rolando under wraps

But even Saban wasn't able to do it completely with McClain.

Nor Jimmy Johns, who was busted selling blow in the parking lot of the football facility.

Saban may provide more discipline and more structure than most coaches, but if a player is a degenerate piece of shite, there's not much chance that even Saban will be able to keep him in line. We've had assaults, robberies, drug busts, etc. And guys get arrested and/or kicked off the team and out of school, but that's all after the fact.

Wait, wait, wait. Fisher banned him for a whole game. Sure that might seem lenient for shaming the whole program but Jimbo took out his Heisman QB for a top 25 team conference match up... that went to overtime. Say what you want, but if that's not placing the program.... slightly... over a player, then what is?

Several people have claimed the suspension came from the AD and University President, not Fisher.

It's no claim...it's a fact.

And I would just love to have heard the conversation between the president and/or AD and Fisher when they say Winston dressed out. There's no way Fisher didn't see Winston in uniform in the locker room.

The FSU administration should have told Winston to keep his arse out of the stadium Saturday night. Then they wouldn't have had the issue of TV cameras on him. And if they had it to do over again, I'd bet that's what they would have done.

IMO, Winston has made Jimbo look like a clown

I'm with you. Jimbo seems to come across every time like he's defending Winston. I think all if this has really hurt the perception of Jimbo.

I see embarrassment and stress on his face as he addresses the Winston issues.
