If we can win all our SEC games with a close loss to kentucky twice or a win and maybe a win over Florida I think we can be a top 25 team. Maybe around 18. It just depends on if grant wants to dedicate as much detail to the offense as he does the defense.

Incredibly dominant defensive effort in the 2nd half, not sure I've ever seen anything like that. Schedule gets real tough the next week and a half though.

@USC
Kentucky
@Arkansas

Can't go 0-3.

Right now I'm just hoping we win one of the next three games. And not get discouraged if we lose one or two of them.

@Ben_Fred: #Vols 38 points against Alabama were the fewest a UT team has scored in Thompson-Boling Arena. Previous low was 46, twice.

so Hale and Obosahan who were starters or part time starters last year are useless based on one game stats.

He never said useless, but that's pretty much the best word to describe Hale this whole season, not just one game. He's left Grant no reason to keep him in when Norris has been better on offense, and is much better defensively and on the glass. Retin has had serviceable minutes though.

I was not really replying to anyone in my post. I was making a person comment as my observations of the games I have watched gives me the impression that their personal contributions do nothing to help the team move forward except take up space.

That's an extremely tall order... LSU and at Arkansas are going to be extemely tough games to win. Also have to consider that the SEC as a whole is much improved and I'm not sure any of our remaining games will be an easy out. If Alabama accomplishes all of that, we will probably be a top 10 team.

Thanks for that. Was thinking it might be so but did not look it up.

Like people have said they struggle to score sometimes. Don't have much of an inside presence but their defense is very tough. Someone compared their current team to our's of last season....somewhat comparable ...Not a good thing for UT heading forward though
