Our line has declined every year Cristobal has been here. Why keep him at all?
because he is probably the best recruiter in the country. Stoutland was terrible at recruiting and evaluating, left a big talent deficit behind him

I absolutely hate -HATE - the zone blocking bullshite. What happened to down block, down block, pull and kick out and run inside the kick out? Is that too simple for Line coaches to show how clever they are?

How many times a game do y'all see when a team is running to the right, the scheme calls for an OL who has a DL lined up on his right shoulder or gap to his right to get all the way across the DL's face and block him back left? Really? And then we're surprised when that DL blows into the backfield and kills the play? What a fricking shock!

I swear the blocking rules on my YMCA team when I was 10 years old is sounder than most of the crap I see on TV.

Stanford is playing Oregan State tonight. They are blowing them completely off the line. Two TEs, pulling guatrd, the whole power run game. I want to cry looking at it

This zone blocking shite is for the birds.

Pendry, Stout, and Cristo all ran/run a zone scheme.

Sucks so bad. Eerily similar feeling to when we lost to Mississppi State back-to-back years.

The fact that we aren't dominating a seriously inferior ULM team should be reason enough.

Yep. The dawn of the zone-blocking era.
