Oregon favored by 21.5 over Stanford
KState favored by 11.5 over Baylor
Obviously, according to the spreads, a Baylor victory is more likely than a Stanford victory. Baylor does have a dangerous offense and if they get hot and KState has an off game, who knows?
I think Oregon is just going to neutralize Stanford's possible advantage in the trenches with superior speed. Stanford has been known to pull off the upsets out West from time to time, but I don't like their chances at Autzen Stadium in Oregon.
With the craptastic SEC slate this weekend, these games will definitely have my attention. Wish they weren't on at the same time.
ETA: didn't really think Wake at ND (-24.5) was worth mentioning, but ND was a big favorite over Pitt and went to OT, so here's to hoping.

I think stanford will give oregon the most trouble of any team left. Their Dline and linebackers in particular really get after the QB and they play a physical game. Oregon is beat the hell up right now on defense. Deathony thomas may have to play safety this weekend due to secondary depletion and they're starting 3 freshmen on the DL due to injury. I won't be extremely shocked if oregon goes down this weekend. Of course, even if they do we need another to fall and to win out ourselves

This is probably not our weekend to make up ground.

I think we need to hope for Oregon to lose, or hope that we dont get in the BCSCG.

I think Oregon would be a tough match up too. But with a month to prepare, I like Bama' chances to handle that offense as well as anyone can. There is a big difference in playing a team like Oregon (and yes Texas A&M) in the middle of the schedule with just a few days to prepare and playing them with a month to prepare.

Oregon's offense is going to run circles around Stanford. Stanford is great in the trenches, but had nowhere near enough speed to slow them down. Stanford's only shot is to run the ball all night at the banged up defense and keep the ball away from Oregon. They'll still have to get some lucky breaks to be competitive.
Baylor can certainly score, but they'll have to win a crazy shootout to pull out a win.
