Not to keep the trend on "hated" players, but on one of the game recaps, it showed Geno missed 4 tackles in a single game.

I think it was UGA so it wasn't super important, but still...

Do you have Coops stats to compare? I would like to see the actual #s.

Both are really good, whether Ridley will have better stats will depend largely on who his QBs end up being and the OC.

I love Ridley and am thrilled he plays for us. That said, how about this stat:

Ridley - Date of Birth Dec. 20, 1994
Cooper - Date of Birth June 17, 1994

When Cooper was a FR at Bama in 2012, he was 18 years old. Ridley as a FR at Bama is 20 years old. You are basically trying to compare a 20 year old Ridley to an 18 year old Cooper. Not fair for Cooper, but he actually comes out ahead in that analysis.

Look at what Cooper did when he was a developed 20 year old college kid. Now compare that to Ridley as a developed 20 year old college kid.

Wait, Coop's only 1/2 year older?!?

Did Ridley lose a few years in school?

Started late, a lot to do with coming from Cuba. Allegedly something happened on the boat ride over and got lost at sea.

Breakdown of the A&M game:

LINK

Geno misses a lot of tackles, and seems Minkah's day would have been considered bad if not for those pick 6s.

Also, a Coker stat:

Over the past 3 weeks, Jake Coker is 11-21 on passes 10+ yards downfield overall, and 8-12 when targeting Calvin Ridley

I haven't seen Cyrus' name mentioned as moving up boards. I know he probably isn't a 1st round pick, but it seems his season is going unnoticed. Obviously his height will hurt his draft stock, but still.

Researched the Aggie game. Minkah definitely got beat on some plays, but most were just little slant routes and really great catches by the sideline. Still a TF, so its expected that he gives up a few. Hell everyone remembers Milliner's freshman year back in 2010. Difference is Minkah is at star and has a great front 7.

What's wrong with Alabama LT Cam Robinson?

Alabama RB Derrick Henry has picked up 45.7% of his rushing yards after contact this season

Over the past 2 weeks, Alabama CB Cyrus Jones has allowed 8 catches on 12 targets for 131 yards and 2 TD

Cyrus giving up a lot lately, Robinson just being continuously bad at LT.

65 yards, and 4 passes and a TD a game over the last two games isn't awful, especialy considering the Tennessee touchdown seemed to be somewhat of the safeties fault too, if I recall.

The TAMU touchdown was against 6'6" RSJ, but the reason they were even in the situation to score was because he fumbled a punt.

C Rob has been injured since the preseason. I forget what the injury was but I looked it up and while it wasn't severe, athletes that have it are expected to take 6 weeks off. He didn't even take 1.

C Ron's poor performance isn't his fault, it's our coaching a recruiting staff that didn't have a good enough backup ready.

In comparison though, he had only given up 9 out of 21 for 188 with 2 TDs in the first 6 weeks.

It's not the worst play, but he's slumping and being targeted with more success.

I thought Washington was responsible for making that play as well. I don't remember any other Vol being in that area.

For Cam, it is probably a mixture of injury and facing the opponents best speed rusher.

The Tennessee td wasn't Cyrus' man. Jabriel Washington back pedaled to the back of the end zone and let the WR run right in front of him. Cyrus was covering the other WR in the flat and comes off of him almost in time to break the pass up.
