For the playoffs or is it just not a play on Kiffin's agenda?

We've been running screens with Ridley and Ardarius Stewart all year.

ETA: didn't catch the sarcasm there. My bad.

Jet sweeps. Lots of them.

I think he is talking about the Henry screen we use to see. Perhaps Coker is just too slow getting it out. We use to see a lot of success with it so something had to change.

Even just checking down to the Running back has gone away... not sure why. We used to check down to Ingram, Richardson, and Lacy all the time.

Seems like it's not in Lane's game plan.

RB is having to stay in and pass block because our OL is so shite

You heard it here first, Ardarius Stewart is throwing a pass in the playoffs. He'll take a jet sweep with the minuscule detail change of it being a lateral, the defense won't notice, and he'll hit Ridley wide open down the right sideline for a touchdown

Seems like we tried this earlier in the year (Ole Miss maybe?) but it was well defended and Stewart ended up just pulling it down and running for a yard or two. I miss the ol' flea flicker we ran under Mac and Nuss. That play was good for about 50 yards every time.

Yes sir. DeAndrew White too. Hit Julio for one in 2009. It was always wide open and usually for a touchdown.

What was that trick play OSU threw on us last year.

That middle screen to Drake against LSU was beautiful. We just don't use it much. Hope he's 100% for the playoffs.

I think Kiffin just prefers other plays. He likes to hit the quick passes and the sweeps to the outside to slow up the rush and open up the middle.

Even on 3rd and long which have been screen play downs for us in the past, we will go with a draw or a quick WR screen instead.

I can't think of many reasons to excuse not getting Henry involved in the screen game though. We should be doing everything we can to get him open in space

I've been dying for a screen pass to Henry all year. Its a play that is right in his wheelhouse.

I'm going to assume that Kiffin isn't an idiot and it has to do with a combination of Coker's slow release and our OL's inconsistencies.

I also think the OL's issues & Coker's inability to throw a great deep ball are also the reason why we haven't seen the Flea Flicker. That said, I think we have one or two trick plays, like the Brandon Greene play, that have been saving in our back pocket. I just hope we don't use them at the wrong time.

Not throwing it to Henry is leaving a huge weapon off the playsheet in my mind. We used to kill teams with RB screens and Kiffin never calls them. Strange really, hope we bust it out in the playoffs. Jail break screen with Henry? Yes, please.

Not saying I agree with it...just my opinion based on what I have seen.

If you go on YouTube and watch Henry's highlights before this year, an extremely good number of his big plays came on check down passes and screens. Coker doesn't throw the running back screen very well but he makes up for it in so many other ways that we don't really need it.

I thought Henry had a big one earlier in the year, but that may have been last year.
