Is it possible to be supportive and realistic? I am still going to go to every game, cheer as loud as I can, give to the university, etc. That doesn't mean that I have to wear crimson glasses and pretend that Alabama will make the playoffs. I still support the team and the athletes, but realistically we aren't going to the playoffs this year. The Capital One Bowl is a whole lot more realistic given the performance of this team.

Does supporting the team require that you ignore all of the blatant weaknesses?

Settle the frick down. The strawman argument you make about 2011 doesn't hold up because nobody was scared about losing anymore games. If anything, people were upset because we knew we were a better team than LSU and we blew a shot at a national title at home. That team had plenty of strengths compared to our current team. What you're seeing now are some Bama fans pointing out that the flaws & trends with this program that have been steadily building over the last few years. I'm happy that we won 3 out 4 national titles, but I'm not going to let that prevent us from expecting the best going forward.

We lost yesterday and having fans being critical of a losing team is not exclusive to Alabama, so get over it. You're not some better fan. But I guess you want us to just say "All is well" and talk shite about how we are going to beat Auburn because Saban is so good in revenge games.

Bama's remaining road games don't look so tough now, all have 2 losses. The toughest games are at home. Bama can not only win it's remaining games, but could win in blowouts. Bama could also lose the rest of it's SEC games. Going to be a exciting season.

In short, you and the rest of this pack of debbie downers are the worst fans ever.

Every damn game we lose you pussies give up and start saying the season is over.

We have the worst damn fans.

You can pound salt. I support Alabama 100%. I'm also a realist and call it like I see them. I told my friends before the game I expected Bama to lose. I was right. Wish I had been wrong. Go crawl back in your delusional world.
