Everyone knows about Tua, but what about this kid? Must be confident because he's super hard in his commitment. I'd like to see him surprise people.

OP: He's having an excellent season for powerhouse Bolles high school. Tua is going to get the most chatter, but I think we've all learned how little star rankings matter once these guys are in the program. Mac has recruiting chops too. There's no reason he can't develop into leader.
Per 247sports this weekend "Mac Jones, QB, Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles -- The Bulldogs won at Lakewood 54-12 on Friday to move to 2-0 on the season. Jones passed for 125 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another score. Bolles plays at Jackson next week."

Thanks, I had no idea about Mac Jones as I don't follow recruiting day-to day, week-to week.

Seems like a solid player. Not many thought Hurts would come in and beat out BB8....but looks like it's happening.
This is why you recruit multiple QB's...never know who will pan out and who will flame out. Almost as fickle as recruiting kickers.

I was not trying to be a smart arse. Recruiting posts Ive seen dont get much attention if not posted in the recruiting thread. I was trying to help him get some information referring him to the recruiting thread. But since you cant tell someones tone by a post you jumped down my throat. Good job.

For real, and the guy just wanted a little feedback about a UA recruit.
I like this board, but the marathon threads not so much if you want to discuss some specific thing or player. It's not like this forum is so busy that another thread will clutter the board.
