I guess he hasn't beasted yet, but I don't think he isn't what we thought he was, I think even though he didn't do much more as a Freshman, it is a Sophomore slump, if you will. Statistically has he slumped? No, but he hasn't met expectations. Another part of it can be attributed to Blake mostly keying on Cooper, and some of it can also be that Cooper is the best WR CFB has seen in some time and you have to feed him no matter who else you have.

I think OJ goes for 1000 next year, if we still have Lane.

I'd like to see Nudie get more touches from the hb position. He can beast with the best and is as explosive through the line as any rb we have. Jmo.

That was a really nice catch against Auburn though.

that kind of play should be open to him every single down. nobody in cfb can cover that. if he gets his hands right, he should be the go to target in possession situations next season.

Always thought he was criminally underused in Nussmeier's system.

I'll play devil's advocate. Averaged more ppg under Nuss than we did under Kiffin or CJM

Also Nuss was the one who moved Fowler to FB. He had more touches last year though he's gained more yards this year

Meh, Fowler has played fullback and RB since high school. Nuss just found a way to limit Fowler's role. Plus, who didn't love seeing that dude run the ball?

He never played FB at Bama until '12. It was a good way to utilize him since he wasn't going to get many carries at RB behind Lacy and TJ

And he's gotten fewer touches this year than last year

I really hope he gets drafted by a good team.

He may not be drafted, but he will make a roster. There's a market for fullbacks who can block and catch the ball. There were two FBs drafted last year...one in the 6th and one in the 7th.

Also a side note, BO is 248 lbs and would be a nudie 2.0. He is about 3 steps faster to.

Does anyone else remember which game this was? I think it was Florida but not sure. Simms barely missed him on what was basically a bomb to the fullback. He was running down the sideline open like 30 yard downfield. Never seen a fullback go deep before.
