Is it too early to use the word "special" when we talk about Hurts?

Just yet, his passing game isn't really all that special.

No other QB was going to have success with that shite game plan.
If not for Hurts rushing for 150+ yards extending all those drives Bama probably loses.
Hurts is legit. He's a few more games, and a better game plan away from putting it all together. Yeah, I'd say he's gonna be really special.
His expression never changes whether down early, or taking a knee at the end. Ice. Cold.
Passing game will come. Reps, reps, reps, and it would help if the WR's wouldn't drop several passes per game.
If not for Hurts rushing for 150+ yards extending all those drives Bama probably loses.

I think the team was mostly "All In" on Hurts before this game, but the way he responded to taking that crushing hit had to win over any doubters.
Not sure if anyone else felt this way, but I think that hit Hurts took and the score woke the team up.
Hurts isn't fast, but he's patient and avoids taking the big hits. His timing with the QR's will come, but for a True Freshman to go into that environment and lead his team from 21 down on the road. Don't think any of us expected that to happen.
