Word is they punked him. Supposedly he was in town in a hotel waiting for an interview and he was stood up. Word got out that FSU was stuck with Bama's reject.

No I don't think we were that good this year

Yes. I think we are built to beat a team like FSU pretty handily.
They remind me of LSU, but with a slightly more mobile QB.
People on here need to step back from the ledge.

Our "A" game would beat them, but we were really exposed on defense at the end of the year and made too many mistakes to feel like we beat them.

I would have been very worried about beating FSU. Would have been as close a game as this one IMO. However SOOOO glad I didn't pay that much money to watch us lose. I couldn't imagine.

We've won 2 National Titles with 1st year QBs. We're Alabama. We don't rebuild. We reload.

Our defense in both 2009 and 2011 was elite. Without massive improvement that does not look to be the case next year.

Yes, FSU played a shyt schedule.
We had nothing to play for vs OU so JMO, Saban decided to allow AJ to have a record day throwing the ball to help him in the draft.

This Bama team had some missing pieces. But, they were still good enough to beat FSU. Whether they would have or not would depend on turnovers and how well they played. But, they certainly could have beaten FSU. There was nothing special about either of those teams last night. They were just good teams that had great years.

I think BAMA FSU would have been a very close game but I would give the edge to FSU. Their DL would have given our OL serious problems,.

We didn't beat Oklahoma and we sure as hell wouldn't have beaten FSU or AU. Sucks to admit that but I'm a realist.

People like you always are blind to facts.
We never turn the ball over but had 4 turnovers vs. OU, and we had almost 600 yards in a game that meant absolutely ZERO.
NO FOCUS.

I said all season I didn't think we could, and still feel that way. They would have just been a bad matchup for us. They were the only team around the top 5 all season that I really wasn't confident we could beat.

We wouldn't have beaten either of those teams tonight. Both played at a higher level than Bama.

I hope we take a big drop in the pre-season polls and come out hungry next year.

If y'all played like you did against OU then no but if y'all played like you did against us then yes. FSU was stout up front but the bad execution on Auburns part lost that game. I believe Bama would've won but it would've been a very close game.

Auburn should have beat them. We should have beaten Auburn. We would have won. I learned that in Logic 101, 1975.
