In his second career after the military my dad had to be in a union cause it was required at the company. He got threatened with violence because he was working too hard completing too many work orders per day and making the others look bad. He was in his late 50s and this was multiple guys in their 30s. He ignored them and they didn't do anything because they were cowards. It's good that I only learned about this incident year's later, or I probably would have gone over to these dudes houses and shot them.

Anyway, that's what unions are in this country. A way for lazy bullies to make everything worse and more expensive. Any possible positive use of a union has already been legislated

I was in the automobile sales and service business for over 35 years, and was in and out of more GM plants than I care to try to count. From this experience I can unequivocally assure you that the UAW destroyed the Big-3 (Chrysler, Ford and GM) automotive dominance in America.
I finished my career as an owner/operator of a GM franchise, and could write a book about what I witnessed and experienced during my time in the business.
