I agree with everything you just said...Throwing to the middle of the field and doing it well will be AJ's ticket to a top 10 pick...IMO
Yep. If there is one knock against AJ, it's he doesn't throw to the middle of the field enough to gauge how well he can do it. That said, I'm sure he'll do fine throwing to the middle, the one thing I've got from just watching some games here and there from last season recently, is that the whole "AJ lacks velocity" rumor is exaggerated, sometimes he doesn't step into it and they can linger a bit, but when he steps into it (which is more often than not) he can rocket it into tight positions.
Anyway, I wonder who will see the field more this year, Foster or Falkins?
I'd say Falkins is gonna be a great RZ target, so I'll give him a slight edge.

Foster is probably looking at returns unless he walks in 3x better than anything not named Chris Black or Amari Cooper. Even then, there is only 1 KR(they usually run a blocker for the other spot) and 1 PR spot, and those are gonna be occupied by trusted hands that have been in live action.
Supposedly in his time spent with Saban, Cris Carter convinced him to recruit taller receivers than what was currently on the roster. So I wouldn't be shocked if the used Falkins in some sort of situational work. He is pretty lanky though, hopefully he comes out of fall camp a little more filled out. They said he is an upgrade to Shinn, so that's a positive...

@TiderInsider: Source tells TI star freshman WR Robert Foster departing for Tuscaloosa on Saturday morning. Foster's excited to finally be joining team.

I hope we really spread it out though with all the weapons we have, Cooper, Black, White, Bell, KN, Ch Jones, and Howard are all guys who, in my opinions, are threats to post a few 100 yards games, even if they haven't done it before, it's tough to do when you're playing with so many other studs in a balanced offense.
I am with you for the most part, but I don't want to become pass happy just because there is a bunch of depth at wide receiver. Still want that 50/50 run/pass mentality. I think Saban will agree.
This means some of the receivers are likely going to have fairly empty games on the stat line.
