This is the second player we've had shot in the last few years.
Does anyone remember who the player was that was shot last ? I believe it was a DE or an OLB.
They were shot in the arm I believe, and ended up playing with a heavy wrap over the gun-shot wound.
Whatever... obviously first and foremost thank goodness he still has his life. Secondly, one week from FSU how is there no curfew being enforced ? Hanging out at bars one week from FSU ? One week from the biggest start of his life ? SMH

Didn't he just get shot today? I don't expect Saban to have a 24/7 curfew a week before a game.

Brandon Deaderick in 2009. It was a robbery attempt in the parking lot of his apartment.
An assistant was at a bar that was a bar that was shot up too. Kerry Stevenson I believe. That was 2-3 years ago.

No. I expect players to be in before curfew on game weeks.
I feel that is fairly standard for all football players during the season, or am I mistaken ?

I'm gonna have to disagree. Preparation for FSU has already started.
The season is here. Bama plays the no.3 team in the country next week in a game many see as an early playoff game.
It's game-week IMO. IF it's not considered game-week I guess we see why it should have been treated like game-week, huh ?
Need guys focused right now. Not getting shot out in front of thug bars.

Story says he was uncooperative. It also says he wasn't targeted and it is apparently a minor wound.
He may well have been out when he wasn't supposed to be and was trying to ke p people from finding out.

I'm saying I'm nowhere near the hard-arse CNS is, and if I'm the ball coach of the Crimson Tide one week before we play the biggest opener in the history of college football (literally) I've got Coach Cochran walking the halls at 2200 making sure my players asses are parked in their rooms.
Hell I may even have Ro McClain walking the halls. 2200 motherf#@&*rs !
If they wanted to be "regular students" they should have committed to play at L6U, or the barn, or tennessee or some shite.
Look, staying out all night drinking, and not getting the right sleep is something that can effect performance for days.
I'm all about players getting to live the college experience, but not 6 days out from the biggest season opener ever. Once fall camp starts play time is over IMO.
