I'm worried, but I never pick against Bama on principle.

Hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see us beating Ole Miss Saturday.

This is my gut feeling as well. I hope that Saban has something up his sleeves and has purposely kept his cards close tot he vest, but with the way Ole Piss is playing and our secondary still being a year away(IMO), my gut says that we lose.

Good thing is that it's still early in the season and we can rebound but this is a VERY VERY bad match up for us...

I agree, I don't understand it. Kelly is known for bad decisions and his first real defense he faces is Alabama, is he really going to shred us with NO running game to take the heat off of him?

Don't see it myself.

They will try to exploit us with crossing routes (that's been our weakness this year) and will challenge us with their pass rush. That being said

Bama 29-6. Griffith misses an XP. Bama gets a safety. Ole miss kicks two fgs.

Will be much like the 25-0 game

Not taking anything away from the awesome team that Ole Miss fielded last year, but I think it's nearly impossible to underestimate the impact that Drake's injury had on Alabama's team that day. It was gruesome and kind of threw them off balance (not to say that the team didn't have other issues).

In 62 meetings, Ole Miss has only beaten Alabama outside the state of Mississippi ONCE - 1988 (tied in Bham in 1933).

Not sure which way it will go, but am confident in one of two scenarios:

A - a tight game that isn't decided until the later portion of the fourth quarter, or;
B - an Alabama blow out.

They have also gotten better offensively and we haven't. Our defense isn't really better than last year's either.

We don't know if either of these statements are true yet.

Wild prediction: Adam Griffith attempts and makes a 40 yard FG.

Offense line does well 28-17 good guys
Too much pressure - 14-28 bad guys

edited to change our score from 17 to 14 for obvious reasons
