This is it. Game #15 to win title #17.

Bama is going for another repeat, 5 titles in 8 years. Saban is chasing Bear Bryant, looking to tie him at 6 for the record of most National Championships won by a Head Coach.

Across the field, the underdogs. Champions of the ACC, they've made it back to the big dance with revenge on their mind. Their players have been here before, and there is an argument to be made that they will want it more.

Clemson should be favored. we are worst than last year, while Clemson is better. I fear we will miss Eddie Jackson more than we think. Will we run the ball with success and can defense limit Watson?

31-27 Alabama. Two of our scores from defense/special teams. Lane Kiffin gets left at the stadium.

I've got a week to change, but right now I'll say

20-19 Bama. We get outgained, but our red zone defense wins the game

23-21 Bama

Watson's turnover problems continue and Bama scores 2 defensive TD. Clemson's D holds Bama to 3 field goals including the game winner on the final play of the game.

If Watson plays like he did last year, Bama probably won't win.

Offense can't keep up this year, no surprise onside kick and no Drake to take a KO return to the house. Watson will take over the game with a full compliment of top shelf receivers and Gallman to keep the defense honest. The defense will put in a championship effort but the offense is too one dimensional and can't quit shooting themselves in the foot. Hurts granite facade finally cracks on the biggest of stages and the defense can't get enough NOTS to overcome the fighting Dabos. Good guys fall just short to a Tiger team on a mission similar to Bama in the SECCG in 09. Griffith misses a long one in the final seconds as the FG weakness finally bites us in the arse at the most inopportune time.

My predicted score depends on whether or not they're going to cover OJ this year.

Defense plays the best game of the season, taking Watson as a personal challenge.

Specials teams capitalize on any mistakes Clemson makes.

Bo for Heisman begins

38-17...

I think Evans will earn his keep by spying on Watson and Hurts/Kiffin will do enough to keep us in the lead.

I don't know if we survive another shootout like last year's game ( then again, I don't even know how we survived last year's game).

We have to work on our passing game. Everyone seems to forget how great Clemson was at slowing down and even stopping Henry and I fear it would would happen with Bo. Jalen might need to bail us out with his feet if our offense starts to stagnate.

I think the defense has a better game but Watson has another great game. We need at least one NOT.

Bama 33
Clemson 28.
Another classic game that comes down to the wire. Also it would not shock me in the slightest if Clemson wins.

He just needs to do what he's done all season.

Also if we lose this game because of offense I can easily see Saban telling Lane to go ahead and take an Uber to Boca and don't even think about coming back to Tuscaloosa.

We'll mail you your shite if some crazy gump hasn't already burned down your house.

Agreed. I do feel like last night was a bit of anomaly. He picked a hell of a time to look like a true freshman. Hopefully he can do just enough to help us win and use the offseason to fix his problems.

BAMA 30
Clemson 21

Hurts had his worst game of the season last night. 3 1/2 weeks between games showed. No rhythm. We'll be fine. Clemson is 5 or 6 plays from having 3 or more losses. I'm sure CNS is studying the NC State and Pitt videos as we speak. Tide rolls. Clemson scores late to make it look closer than it really is.
