Glad to hear that for Sylve. Could be a good battle this fall between him, Geno, and Fulton for the 2nd CB spot in base defense

Most impressive thing I saw though was when the running backs were working on running low then hitting a block. Fowler came out of the gate and hit the sled and flipped it over backwards. Just launched it.

Fowler is moving really well from what I've heard. His knee injury was pretty nasty and a couple of CNS's comments had me worried that his recovery might spill into the season, but I'm a little more confident now that he'll be good to go by kickoff. I think his versatility can be a huge asset for us

45...that's Fowler behind Henry?

WHAT?!

Didn't Nuss say Fowler was 6'1" 250lbs? I mean he's probably more like 5'11" and change, but still, Henry looks like two Fowlers.

Glad to hear Sylve is getting a chance, but I wonder if he would be working out there today if Fulton was healthy? Maybe he still would've been, but either way this gives him a good opportunity, as someone else said, to make it between him, Smith, and Fulton for the spot opposite of Belue.

Anyone else think Belue looks a little bigger? Not a lot, but just a little.

Hill and Brown. Could be book end tackles in 2014.

Exactly what I was thinking on sylve. Wish we would give Cyrus a chance at safety.

I think Cyrus is gonna be moved around so much and not really have a home that the most contribution he'll consistently give is on returns, which sucks, but hey it happens.

Our offensive line looks big and powerful in those drills. I love those first drills in that video. Our guys seem to have good form, and explosiveness while staying low.

Yep. The OL won't be a problem after a couple of games they'll gel. Can't wait to see how far Steen gets when it comes to the NFL Draft and AA honors.

One to watch IMHO is Ryan Kelly

Hill is pretty light and agile for that massive size

I wanna see both working in technique drills

Also BTW I finally got a chance to watch Tidesports.com video they posted of Henry.....

He is so quick and agile, has that wide base Trent had to cut and accelerate ON A DIME...he has it...bottom line he has it

Looks like all the runningbacks have their own football and they hold high and tight all the time. It never touches the ground. Great way to enforce ball security.

They did wonders with Lacey and how he carried the ball early in his career.

Our backfield is gonna be a terror.

As much as I love this time of year I cant wait until the rest of the freshmen get to practice. Cant wait to see Reuben out there.
