he was really raw and lanky the last time I saw him on the HS level, honestly didn't expect him to be a D1 guy

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Definitely a different feel to this team.

I'm pumped. The two things I've been disappointed with this season have been the ridiculous shot selection of Tarrant and how Kessens has played, period. Tarrant played like a great PG today and got his teammates some great shots (8 ast) instead of strictly looking for his own. Kessens finally stayed out of foul trouble, attacked the glass, and looked solid offensively. I'm excited about this team...

Another good win. Hopefully Coleman and Retin will be good to go Saturday. I love the way Norris battles, but he's gotta slow it down when he gets the ball in the paint offensively. He panics.

@Marq_Burnett: Grant said Retin Obasohan suffered a "lower leg injury" a couple of days ago in practice. Said he anticipates him being ready for Saturday.

@Marq_Burnett: Grant said Justin Coleman "banged his knee." That's all he knows.

I noticed this too. For the first time in Grant's tenure, they seem to enjoy playing for him and the team looks like it has good chemistry.

those 8pm starts are not going to be good for attendance

That's too late.

Great win against a team that beat us last year. Is it too soon to be quietly optimistic about this season? Very encouraging to see the chemistry the team has played with this year. Let them run.

Is Xavier a tournament quality team this year?
