Every coach who came to Bama a winner at their previous stops has done well. To be frank, the guys who haven’t done well really had no business getting the job. Once the dust settles after a season, the floor for DeBoer will be 9 wins.

Since Wallace Wade won Alabama's first national title in 1925, the only Alabama coach who entered with a winning record and did not win a title at Alabama was Dennis Franchione. Even he had a ten win season in year two before he bolted.

He won the west but we couldn't go due to sanctions.
