No NIT attendance is ever stellar.
Especially with spring break.

If we make it to host another game, we'll draw much better. We usually sell out in games leading up to MSG in the NIT.

Spring Break definitely did not help. Tuesday night game probably did not help. If we hosted a Saturday game not during Spring Break, I'd think attendance would be a lot better.

One of the louder crowds though. General admission does wonders.

Loved seeing all the student athletes there in lieu of... ya know, the spring break students. Got to see some of the track and softball girls, tried to talk with Coach Murphy and even saw coach Duckworth bustin' a move with her team.

Same players, different result.

They were aggressive in the first half. I thought they slowed it down and looked a bit like their normal selves in much of the second half, but it's hard to complain when they had a 20+ pt lead.

To be fair, I think we were playing with a lot of emotion in the first half and Illinois didn't care to be there. Things settled down in the second half. Illinois got aggressive and we tried to run the clock a little more. The difference between that and the past under Grant was we hit some key shots and didn't go on long scoring droughts.

It would be awesome if UA made it up here so I could watch them in the Garden.
