NIL Valuations and recruiting services

I clicked a link to a recruit's profile on the On3 website and noticed a link there telling recruits to join to see their NIL valuations.

Are these recruiting websites the bar setters/top influencers for what recruits expect with NIL money when they ask coach or whoever to pay up?

Just curious to hear from people who know about this interesting phenomenon.
