After the glorious 2009 national championship season, the Crimson Tide pulled in another Top 5 recruiting class and looked primed for a repeat national championship. The roster was absolutely loaded on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball with many skill position players and key contributors coming back for the 2010 season. However, injuries as well as some roster infighting would prove to be to the detriment of the team as Alabama would truly underachieve for the first and (arguably) last time of the Nick Saban Era.

Playing 6 conference teams coming off a bye didn't help either. Not sure how that was allowed to happen.

2010 Bama v SC: the weekend Spurrier locked Stephen Garcia in a closet so he couldn’t do drugs and get drunk the night before the game.

I really wonder how good that SC team could’ve been with Lattimore and Jeffrey if Garcia had his head on straight.

One of those things that was just absolutely ridiculous.

Everyone talks about the South Carolina and Auburn games, but truly no excuse for that LSU loss. We messed around for three quarters and LSU just gutted it out.

Watching the Citrus Bowl was the highlight of the season and also sort of sad. They finally came together for the bowl after mistakes and injuries derailed the championship aspirations.
