Alright boys, hard to believe but here we are again. I for some reason thought it was a good idea to get tickets through the ticket office again. While, I am going to the game I bet I would have fared a lot better getting them off of StubHub as I doubt anyone will get face value for their tickets.

As I live in Huntsville, BNA - OAK was the preferred flight and we will probably stay near the San Fran airport close to the game. That way we can take the BART north and drive south.

During prior experiences I have stayed in Oakland a few times. I do not recommend it if you are bringing your family. The BART stations are just terrible over there.

I just need to decide on whether to drive to the game and park or find some sort of public transportation. I have not heard good things about Levis park when it comes to public transportation, so hopefully someone else has some experience.

Thats a heck of an itinerary! Should be a lot of fun if you are traveling with great company. See if you can drive up HWY 1. Lot slower but spectacular.

anyone have any clue on the parking situation by Levis stadium yet?

BTW they still have Alcatraz tour tickets still available the morning of the game and the day after. Never done it before, trying the night tour Tuesday Night.

I just bit the bullet and bought a pass on ticketmaster for the Blue Lot for $60

I looked on the offsite parking sites and there are a few but all in office parks, which can be a weird dynamic on a weekday (especially for a game that starts at 5 PM local time).

Alcatraz is way cool. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

I'm doing kinda the opposite of SOG.

Fly into SFO Saturday.

Saturday and Sunday in SFO, then staying Sunday and Monday night at the Sonesta in Santa Clara. Family did tickets through Tide Pride.

After that driving down the coast on HWY 1 Tues-Fri. Stops in Carmel, Cambria and Santa Barbara. Staying in Santa Monica Friday night and flying out of LAX on Saturday. Should be a good time.

Wish we had a little more time on the coastal drive like you do. I'm really looking forward to it.

What is the face value on these tickets? Because there are already uppers on the secondary market for less than $400 and mezzanine for less than $500. Doesn't look like this is going to be a hot ticket. Terrible proximity to the two schools and of course unless you are talking about the cinematic masterpiece that is Rocky IV, the fourth installment of a series is usually a tough sell.

Nice - that's great.

It's my first time north of San Diego out there. I'm really looking forward to it. Beautiful place.

More than that - we're getting boned by getting them from the University. They'll be down in the $100-200 range once the tickets are sent out to the schools, I almost guarantee it. I think they charged me $575 a piece last night, and those are going to be upper deck seats.

It wouldn't shock me at all if there are visible empty seats.

You probably could have ended up with 100 level sideline seats for $575.

Good news... Not much upper deck in Levi's stadium. Apparently 575 tickets are lower bowl.

Going to be sad to see the second hand market after what the ticket office just charged us

Tickets will go for little or nothing just before kickoff. There's always a good number of tickets available for local consumption and those people out there couldn't care less about this game. By game time there'll be tickets hitting the ground around the stadium.
