If you could pick.. would you trade a NC in football for 1 in basketball?

Don’t know about some fantasy hypothetical trading but I can say I want a basketball national championship more than another football national championship if it’s a binary choice.

Depends on how that would work...a future natty? No doubt.
A previous natty? It's easy to say "of course!" but by doing that you're stripping a championship from a team that earned it on the field. I love Bama football and Bama hoops equally. Obsessed with both. 100% I want a Bball championship but which football title are you taking away?
2009? Perfect undefeated season gone? 2012? Beatdown over Notre Dame? 2017's 2nd and 26? Hell nah.
I get the sentiment behind this and it sounds like an obvious "yes" but it's much easier said than done.
How about we trade a claimed title from the 40s? I'm ok with that easily.

We've had so many, so recently, that yes I'd rather have a basketball championship.
We're already the king of the world in Football.
Winning in Basketball would legitimize Bama basketball. And we'd be one of the few to win both.

I would party harder over a title in basketball than any season I’ve experienced in football, except maybe 2012 when we stormed The Strip, and it’s going to be glorious.
Really hope it happens this year, not sure the next time we’re going to have this great of a shot.

i'd love to see a bama basketball natty! but how about they win it sans anything to do with football. which they will, of course.

Honestly, basketball championships are won over time. With the structure of the tournament, where one loss bounces you and getting hot and somewhat fortunate at the right time equals success vs failure, it pays to be there year after year with a good team.
We could win it this year. However, a number of things have to fall into place. We won’t be the only really good team on the tournament.
Hopefully, we get hot and our talent is able to take over. Hopefully, the mental fatigue gets taken care of and the guys get a little second wind going into tournament season.
