I think Groh would be available. He was on the LA Rams staff that was let go.

Edit. He was hired by the eagles.

I wouldn't be shocked if the hire is already made.

Just a courtesy to the school for NSD if that coach was in the college ranks.

I kind of expect it to be a college coach, which is currently elsewhere.

Briles won't work in coaching again. Ever.

I concur.

Having a technician there is important, but I think having that recruiting personality there is more so.

I believe the exact opposite for an OL coach

Lance Taylor hired by Carolina to coach WRs. It could have an affect on Jack West. He was the primary on him for Stanford.

Not that it would happen, but if Nick Saban were to hire Art Briles in any capacity I would be 100% OK with UA firing him. That man should never be allowed to step on any college campus ever again.

Two things:

A. I wonder if Saban puts in a phone call to newly available (formally LSU) WR coach Dameyune Craig since they have history at both LSU and Miami and is a proven elite recruiter, especially in-state.

B. Would Craig actually take a job with Alabama if offered considering his history as a Barner.

Interesting.

I doubt many people would turn down a job just because it is their rival from college. Hell, James Willis left Auburn for Alabama after the 2008 season.

He's worked for Saban at two stops already.

We've had to rely on grad transfer WRs 2 of the last 3 years.
