It certainly hasn't been bad, but it isn't ideal is all I'm saying. That is to be expected though when we have one of the tallest OLs in the country and he is 5'11"-6'0". I actually can't remember any of his passes being batted at the line though. I'm sure a few have, but credit Sims for his high release of the middle.

i'd call sims inaccurate. when the ball is behind, over the head, in the dirt and a receiver has no shot at catching it, then its inaccurate. there have been times this season that any wr not named cooper had no shot at a catch, the ball wasnt thrown close enough for a legit attempt. so yes sims can be inaccurate, at times. now the flip side is a bunch of passes on the hands that gets dropped. sims shakes it off and goes on. a huge credit to him not gettin frustrated with the drops.

now i cant see msu in single coverage the whole game. unless, unless they're getting heavy pressure on sims, consistently. otherwise, coop eats them alive, imo.

I'm calling BS on this one. No way they try to single cover him.

I am not that big of Sims but his one strength is when he is on the run. Why I think we match up better than any team against MSU. Actually not match up but have the advantage. In Cooper's big games it was against teams that tried to get after Sims but lacked solid DB play. Ole Miss and LSU did both pretty good during the game and the score shows it, but many others got burned trying to flush Sims because Cooper is always a quick outlet.

I keep hearing the game will come down to Dak and our defense but I am not concerned about our D they will do what they need to and have in every game to help us win, but it will come down to our offense(especially our passing game) versus MSU secondary.

Agree completely TW, but I do worry how well we can run the ball on them with a slowed TJ.

If we can't run, we won't win. It's that simple. Hope the OL is ready, and the Beast is on point.
