Dude just out-dueled the heisman front runner to the tune of 65% completion rate, 364 all purpose yards, 4 total TDs

It’s time to grow up and eat some crow

Shaft Williams is up first…don’t worry there’s plenty to go around

He’s gotten a lot better. I will say he hasn’t scratched the surface of what he’s capable of. I think that’s why he’s held to such a high standard. He actually had some great touch passes , missed a wide open touchdown, and we just shouldn’t try screen passes at all. But I will say I was wrong about him.

I've stated that he doesn't have the vision to be a QB and he shouldn't be starting.

I think that is a fair criticism.

I have also said I don't think you can coach vision. I still think that but I do think he has grown tremendously.

I've also said the dude has it from a leadership perspective. That mind set has carried him far.

Waiting for TS1926 to come in here and tell us Milroe isn't a great runner and he wouldn't have many P5 offers if he wanted to transfer

Milroe had a good game. But let’s not forget that this was against literally one of the absolute garbage defenses in the country. The statistics say so not me.

He has gotten better but this needs to be put into perspective. But good for him for not giving up.

Let’s also not forget that the Milroe cheerleaders were crowing before he had actually done anything. A little bit of revisionists history and wishful thinking. Good on Jalen. He seems like a class act.

If fsu gets credit for beating them so should Bama.

My hope is that despite the ineptitude of LSUs defense, it clicked for Milroe tonight that he’s allowed to run the football and he’s typically one of the 3-4 fastest players of the 22 on the field and he should do it more often. If he had 15 rushing attempts against Texas instead of forcing throws we’re probably undefeated and ranked #1 right now.

I’ve been critical of Milroe but I’m damn happy for him tonight. He balled out and deserves all the credit coming his way. He really turned his wheels loose tonight with no hesitating. It’s what we’ve been waiting to see. I loved seeing him abuse LSU DBs all night. LOL!

God forbid fans of a team, you know, root for the players on that team.

All year long Bama has lacked a fastball. Milroe's wheels are the fastball. When he has to be accounted for every snap, the entire field opens up. You haven't seen the best of this kid yet.

What is “things that didn’t happen tonight” for 500 Alex?

What Daniel’s just did to one of the top defenses in the country prior to getting hurt was absolutely disgusting. Jalen did what he needed to do to win us a game, but he in no way “out-dueled” or outplayed Daniels tonight. LSU’s defense is a joke, and several QBs have torched it this year. Some of the same ones that could only put up 10-20 points against Bama’s defense.

It was a good win, but let’s stop calling the QB that almost lost us the Arky game a Heisman caliber guy after playing against a high school JV defense.

P.S. I took a half portion of crow after the A&M win and will gladly take the full portion if he beats UGA in Atl. Let’s see how he plays against a top defense before we say he’s turned the corner (although his willingness to run tonight was clearly better than any game before…that could have been largely due to bad pass rush discipline/tackling, or maybe our OL is getting better…LSU makes every OL look good).

Whatever dude, he clearly looked way more confident running the ball tonight. He didn't pussy foot around like he has been and the results were pretty incredible. Sure it was against LSU's D but he hasn't turned it upfield like that all season. He showed us tonight that he is very much an elite running QB.

How does doing it in 1 out of the 8 games he’s played this year mean he “is very much an elite running QB,” when the 1 was the worst defense he’ll play all year (not sure I saw a spy on him the entire game…the whole LSU defensive staff should be fired).

I’d give you “might be,” “could be,” or something similar, but doesn’t 7 other performances still mean something or are we going full overreaction from 1 game tonight? I mean, Stephen Garcia threw dimes all night against an elite Bama defense in 2010…but he wasn’t immediately crowned as an elite passing QB after that program changing win for USC.

I see what you are saying, and it's reasonable, but he looked different tonight running the ball. He has looked timid season and he didn't tonight. He shot upfield like an elite running back tonight. Could be LSU's porous d but it looked different regardless.
