Forecast showing rain all day Friday and Saturday. Gonna be a nasty one boys.

Maybe tickets will be cheap though.

corndog tickets may be cheap. We played in a slop fest already this year so they should be ready for this. 3-2 Bama wins.

not sure how it will impact the game. The ball will be wet for the QBs but the recievers know where they are going unlike the DBs. I doubt line play will be impacted much if at all. Both teams can still ground and pound.

Special Teams might be even more of an adventure for both teams.

Spot on. If there is an advantage I think it will go to bama because of being at home, familiar surroundings, etc. It's bad enough being in someone else's stadium, but to be there while being miserably wet can put you out of sorts.

Also, if both teams stick to the ground and pound, which I hope they do, our front 7 gives us an advantage in that part of the game.

I keep seeing LSU fans saying there special teams sucks...what part of it sucks? All of it? or just the coverage aspect? Field goal kicker?

I think we all know our kicker is pretty shitty...

The rain makes it pretty interesting. This Alabama team has turned the ball over a lot more than in the past. Hoping we can get all of that covered. Hopefully we can get these penalties turned around we have gotten in way too many 2/3 and longs which just kills our offense.

coverage on punts and kick offs has been spotty, given up a number of big returns. Punter has been erratic. Kicker is ok, returners are ok but nothing special (we just replaced our punt returner after a number of screw ups). Kicker has kicked the ball off out of bounds multiple times. Actually took a delay of game on a kickoff once too.

Overall things have improved from "worst ever" to just bad, so i guess that's encouraging.

The latest forecast (WIAT) in Birmingham as of 1:00 PM Central today. There will be heavy showers over night (Friday Night) Heavy Showers early Saturday Morning and steady showers throughout the day. It will start to clear out on Saturday Night in time for the game.

Looks like an ugly muddy sloppy tailgate but it will clear up for the game.

This shouldn't be a problem for you, since we haven't had a notable return game since Maze came up limp running back that punt in the BCSCG.
